On a 70,000 square foot gymnasium in Hawaii, the placement carried two strict requirements:

Super flat floors demand precise elevation control across long runs. When a vapor barrier is involved penetration risks and membrane disturbance become a serious concern.
The contractor, Hawaii Masonry, turned to MAKO’s FinStand and FinCap screed support system to manage both requirements simultaneously.
The system was configured directly over the vapor barrier, maintaining membrane integrity while providing mechanical height adjustment for screed rails.
Setup efficiency mattered on a slab of this size. Hawaii Masonry inserted rebar between the Base Plate and FinStand to align support locations across long rebar runs, creating a consistent setup while preserving grade precision.
