The MAKO® Nylon Hex Nut is a 1/2" x 13 threaded locking and adjustment nut used with MAKO 1/2" nylon all-thread and the MAKO Nylon Flat Washer for fine-tune height adjustments with the FinStand® combined with the FinCap®, and JAWS® screed chair installations. Together, the nut and washer give contractors precise, repeatable elevation control beyond the standard FinStand adjustment range.
Made from 100% nylon — non-conductive and non-corrosive — the hex nut is designed for harsh pour environments including bridge decks, waterways, and power plants where metal hardware is prohibited or would corrode. It can remain permanently embedded in the slab alongside the rest of the MAKO stay-in-place system without adverse effects.

HOW TO USE
1. Install MAKO 1/2" all-thread into the FinStand® (minimum 1/2" embedment into FinStand).
2. Thread the MAKO Nylon Hex Nut onto the all-thread below the washer.
3. Place the MAKO Nylon Flat Washer onto the all-thread above the FinStand.
4. Place FinCap® or JAWS® screed chair on top of the all-thread (minimum 1" embedment into the chair for a stable setup).
5. Adjust the hex nut position up or down to fine-tune elevation to your string line or laser at finished slab elevation.
