What Is the MAKO® Driver?
The MAKO® Driver is a patented setup tool that allows one person to quickly and accurately set multiple screed support locations in seconds using a string line or laser set to the finished elevation of the slab.
The Driver is designed to work with MAKO FinCap® and JAWS® Small and Large screed chairs. (The Driver is not designed to work with JAWS® RailFin.)

How It Works
- Set a string line or laser to the finished elevation of the slab.
- Install the FinCap® or JAWS® (Small/Large) onto your mounting structure.
- Place the MAKO® Driver over the screed chair and mounting structure.
- Drive the assembly into the sub-grade while aligning the Driver marker to the string line/laser elevation.
- Once aligned, the screed chair is set at the proper height to accept the screed rail.
