The Heart of Precision Elevation Control

HOW TO USE:

Draw string line to finished elevation.
Insert mounting structure into screed chair.
Drive until marker aligns with string line.
Move to next chair.

Repeatable. Accurate. Fast. Eliminates elevation guesswork.
Ensures consistent screed support height every time.

Its patented internal “fins” in each MAKO screed chair hug the mounting structure so the chair will not bounce off rebar or rod during concrete placement.

Specifications:

Packaging: 100 pieces per bag - Approximately 3,000 sq ft coverage per bag

Spacing: Typically every 3-4 feet (1 meter) depending on screed weight, pour span and subgrade. Always test conditions prior to placement.

Mounting Structure Compatibility: 1/2" 13 thread for the FinStand, 1/2" x 6 thread for the CoilStand

Material: Impact-resistant medical grade polypropylene

Minimum Slab Thickness: Varies by chair and mounting structure

Country of Origin: Made in USA

Best For:

Slab-on-Grade, Elevated slabs, Metal deck pours, Wood deck pours, Concrete overlays, Vapor barrier slabs, Drains, Rail Critical, High FF/FL Floors, Tennis Courts, Gymnasiums, Swimming Pools, Waterways, Performance concrete, Pan Decks, Sloped slabs, Tunnels, Super Thick Floors, Manufacturing plant slabs, Embankments, Bridge decks and infrastructure projects, Super flat floors requiring FF/FL compliance and more.

Why Do Contractors Choose MAKO Screed Chairs?

Fully Adjustable System. Fine-tune slab elevation before placement.

Stay-in-Place Design. No removal. No patching. No callbacks.

Patented Internal Fin Technology. Internal fins grip mounting structure to prevent bounce during placement.

Field Proven Performance. Used on infrastructure, industrial, super flat, and DOT projects.

Built around the JAWS Small and JAWS Large screed chairs, this modular system allows contractors to configure the right setup for slab-on-grade, elevated deck, or vapor barrier applications. When combined with the MAKO FinStand and Base Plate, the system creates a fully adjustable screed support that can be securely mounted to wood decks, metal pan decks, or placed on vapor barriers.

The JAWS Small + FinStand configuration allows threaded rod height adjustment to precisely align the screed rail to the finished elevation of concrete. For additional stability on decks or vapor barriers, the JAWS Small + FinStand + Base Plate setup distributes load and provides a secure mounting surface during concrete placement.

In addition to screed support, the FinStand structural system can also be used to accurately position anchor bolts, embeds, and threaded rods, making it a versatile solution for contractors working on industrial floors, elevated slabs, structural pours, and precision concrete placement.
